No for me it wasn't but for many on here it is - it depends on your circumstances.

I would say, yes. Some cannot convert T4 to enough T3 and therefore don't feel so well. If your GP keeps your levels 'with range' that may affect you too.

Adding some T3 to your T4 can be helpful (it was for me) T3 is the active hormone our thyroid cells need. T4 is inactive.

Last bloods re the Ts & ferritin level @ dec 2013 which endo said were normal:

T3: 4.6 range 3.50 - 7.70

T4: 20.8 range 12.00 - 21.00

ferritin: 48 range 13 - 150

Hi anjh-blu.

Copy and paste your blood test results onto a new questions and members who are good at blood tests will answer. Your T3, although in the normal range, does seem a low to me.
