Hi
I believe my Vitiligo was the begining of my "Endocrine" disorder.
I developed this a few years before my health began to fail. I was given two UV treatments (each lasting about 6 months) 3 days per week at the dermatology department. The Proffessor did tell me that Vitiligo is often associated with thyroid issues. The treatment did "slightly help" but mine is very bad now. It started on my arms mainly.

Hi Jacaranda.
Thanks for your reply. This started on my back nearly 2 years ago and I went to the GP twice about it then, one opinion was Vitiligo and the other a Yeast Infection on my back. It never bothered me so I left it at that but now it's spreading down my back and very tiny patches on my legs so decided to seek another opinion and diagnosed Vitiligo and funnily enough you say yours started at the beginning of your Endocrine issues, I noticed mine around the same time I started the cycle of feeling unwell and still continue to battle with the GP's. My Mum is Hyperthyroid and funnily enough always had skin discolouration on her neck way before she was diagnosed with her Thyroid disorder.
The link is that they are both autoimmune. I started off with a patch on my leg, and I am now over 50% "white-out" with no melanine. I have it on my face and in my hair, which creates white streaks (Cruella deVille!). One doctor in the hospital spotted it when I was in for something else and told me it was because I did not wash properly! He went away with his tail between his legs as I gave it to him both barrels! It does not bother me and I was never offered any treatment. Now have Hashis, arthritis, neuropathy, and several other autoimmune things. My body does not like me!
