The advice is to take it with water only, because milk is one of the things which hinders absorption. and leave a minimum of an hour before eating or drinking anything else.
Which is why I decided to take my Levo last thing at night after I brushed my teeth! I can't wait for my morning coffee!
Many find - as I did - that taking it at night makes it more effective and means they are more lively in the morning, but the whole thing balances out in the end anyway, so it's a matter of how you personally find it best.
For example, if you have always taken it with a cuppa in the morning, then you would not notice any difference since you do the same every day. And that is what is important - consistency. So long as you take it in the same way and at the same time every day, then you won't notice any variation.
But if you find you feel a bit sluggish and maybe it's not working as well as it ought, you could always try either sticking to the water-and-nothing-else rule, or you could try it at night for a month and see if it works better for you.

I might just try a night time session for a couple of weeks or more. I love my Red Bush tea first thing
