Hi I too have developed a clicking in my right ear within the last few weeks. When it first started I thought it was a beetle in the room! I hope we hear back from someone who can help !

I can't help but I get very odd noises in the ear on the side where my thyroid is swollen. As for cardiovascular, I think it's just cos all your body functions are having to work so hard without adequate hormones. But I'm sure someone else will know!

Just realised I misread your question about cardiovascular. I guess they are trying to scare you off having a higher dose??? I don't think a low TSH does give you cardio problems, I think it's conspiracy!

I had this until I mega dosed B12 - then it went (after a few weeks).

It is caused by a small muscle in your ear (where?) tensing up and then releasing. I was asked if I had this when I went for an ear examination. I don't know anymore about it except that it is usually very temporary.

Objective tinnitus

This type of tinnitus is uncommon. Ringing noises in the ears may be caused by spasms of small muscles in the middle ear (often heard as a clicking sound) or by abnormalities of the blood vessels in and around the ear.

It is the turbulent bloodflow that is heard directly by the inner ear, and it usually occurs in time with the heart beat (pulsatile tinnitus). Pulsatile tinnitus can occur when there is an increased bloodflow to the ear, such as during an infection and inflammation, but also because of anatomical abnormalities of the blood vessels.
