Im new to group but not thyroid problems does under active thyroid affect chances of conceiving?

...yes I have read many times that it can be the cause. Also low B12 - which often goes hand in hand with being Hypo or Hyper. It is important to be tested as soon as you fall pregnant and your dose increased during the nine months. I am not medically qualified - have just read lots ! Hope all goes well for you....

Thanks feel a bit conflicted as asked my dr said it wouldnt but ive also read it can, my thyroid was never better than whilst I carried my son as my endo controlled it so well but it took me a long time 2 fall x

...good to hear your Endo took good care of you. Personally I would speak with your Endo when you are planning another baby - maybe send an e-mail. Am afraid Docs do not know everything - especially when it comes to thyroid and its workings !!
