Have just logged in to read this mornings posts etc.and they are all 10-11 hours old so can't find the question on How do we approach GPs?

Thanks for my 2 replies.....I must have missed that yesterday (15 hours old) but the heading on today's E-mail.....May be because I was busy preparing notes to see my own GP ......interesting to say the least.

I felt I needed to get an up to date TSH reading in preparation for seeing my Endo in Feb. as it hasn't been done since August last year and my Endo changed my Levo dose in November, but had to stop my GP from adding it to my test form My Endo has given me to get FT4 & FT3 tests as I suspected they might do the TSH and not the important ones that my Endo had signed for as necessary! So have another form and will go to local Hosp. for that one next week.

I also related that I had used my time to eliminate certain foods from my diet in order to see if it was something to do with my muscular aches,however that was of no interest so then said I had finally come to the conclusion that it must be something to do with my medication.......wait for it...Mercury Pharma....so knowing I was seeing him I decided to come off my Levo for 48 hours to see what happened and I had seen an improvement in my movement,so think it may be the fillers and will put in a yellow card.

However,he won't change me to another brand until I have seen my Endo,so am having to stick it out on MP for another 3 weeks,as I can't stay off my Levo for that long.

I just tell myself to " Keep Calm and Carry On" ......as best you can!
