What can happen when you first start taking levo is that your poor struggling thyroid will think "great I can now take a little holiday" so any actual thyroid hormone it was producing will reduce and the small dose of levo your GP has given you may not make up for this so you can start to feel ill again or even worse than you did before you started your meds.

Thanks Moggie, makes a lot of sense. I am sorry, still struggling to find replies but am trying my hardest, hate to think that I am wasting peoples time. Problem in this country is that we get constant power cuts so when I think I am getting there my pc just crashes when these guys decide to switch our power of.

Sometimes the sit has a blip and not all messages/answers people are sending you will show up.

Go back into your original question and tell me exactly what you can see and we'll go from there.

No you didn't quite understand what I ment. You should be able to see your question and, if you scroll down a bit using the arrow on the side of your screen, also a big blank box with a heading of reply.

Can you see this.
