Just got my copy of my bloods so wondered if you knowledgeable people could take a look. My GP said they are normal range, but did agree, due to my vast amount of symptoms & strong family history, that I am borderline HYPO and so has started me on 25mcg Levo to see if it helps.....
It has done in the past 5 days I have started them, but today I feel exhausted etc again
I read that you shouldn't have milk at the same time as taking Levo so ive been waiting 45 mins for my cup of tea for breakfast - is that long enough?? Thank You in advance
Serum Free Triod level 4.1
free T4 11.1.
TSH 2.30.
IgA 4.34 says this is HIGH ?? (don't know what its for?)
I have lots more but not sure what if they are all related...

Do you have the ranges for those figures? At first glance, and going on my own lab's ranges, your T4 is seriously low and your FT3 is also low, so you should start to feel better once the thyroxine kicks in. For me it took around 6 weeks for each increase to have its full effect.
The advice on here generally seems to be that levo is best taken last thing at night. I do that, but can't comment on whether it has more effect that way as I've always taken it at night.
I can't comment on IgA as I don't know what it is. It seems to be an anti-body of some kind. Have you had your thyroid antibodies measure?
Thanks I don't think I have had the thyroid antibodies measured... The ranges are FT3 4.1 (4-8.3))
FT3 11.1 (10-24) so im bottom of the range for both. Ive had to push for these tests and because of all my symptoms and Family history of Hyp my GP has let me try on 25mcg Levothyroxine which ive been on for 9 days and do feel better already! Although didn't take one at 7am this morning as im swopping to take them pm, before bed, and I feel really tired and moody!!? x
