Why am i not tested for t3 after having tt taking 100microg of levo? If thats the important hormone shoudnt it be priority?

You would think so but seems to rarely happen in the UK.

It's probably outside the medical procedure for this condition due to the economics of the NHS. I believe TUK is trying to change these rigid standards by educating us and producing some sort of activism. Perhaps if you do not feel well, you should look into other options, going private, using natural desiccated thyroid, getting blood tests through Blue Horizon, etc.

It is worth asking your doctor, especially if you can reel off a list of symptoms, like I did. He agreed and it came back under the ref range. I then saw an endo privately and after a year of trying various meds, am on T3 only and feeling better. Think it depends on your GP practice but worth a try.
