after scan if it shows nodules what will happen then, have not seen anyone except gp .

I had multiple nodules & they were tested with a needle where the fluid is drawn off. They were normal so left alone for a few years even though I had a very large goitre in my neck.

Eventually they tested suspect for folicular cancer so I had a rushed op. to have half my thyroid removed. Happily I didn't have cancer but probably would have if I hadn't have had the op.

thanks for replying , glad you had a happy result. did you have to wait a long while from scan to the testing . and for scan results . was that the only tests they did ? sorry for so many questions .
