What's happened to my miracle..

After being diagnosed with low Vit D i started taking a supplement of 400iu per day which was'nt helping ,came to the end of my tether a week past and decided to up dose to 6000 per day and took an iron supplement( Endo said iron was in range but low,no results for me to check )was advised that i would know a difference in a week re the iron,Started high dose of D on the Sunday and by Tues felt different low and behold by Sat i hoovered .made meals cleaned out a cupboard and was dancing,i was back to NORMAL,but now went back downhill but still feeling something is now working right,Any suggestions what has happened.

Are you making sure that the supplements are kept away from any thyroid meds, particularly iron?

Perhaps you've overdone things with your new-found energy?

Yes;i've started taking my thyroxine at bedtime as energy levels better at night than morning.Maybe i did overdo it but it was so good to feel like normal again.

I have been on Levo almost 3 months with an increase a few weeks ago. I am not back to normal yet. I took 4000ui per day of vit D and at last blood test was still in severe deficiency range. I have upper to 6000ui per day and will be retested in a months time.

I have much better days and some still quite low. Allow you body time to heal and yes if I have overdone it I get days when I crash too.
