Recent Endocrinologist Society conference in USA 6 days ago reported that NDT was a good alternative to Levothyroxine based on random double blind study. The people who were on NDT actually lost an average 3lbs in weight too :-). A significant 49% of the sample felt better after 16 weeks on NDT. Read more on Mary Shomons web page where she sees this as a breakthrough. Interesting. It might help provide counter arguments to the Endocrinologists here who think NDT is unstable.
