I'd thyroid cancer 10 years ago, and I am 12 weeks pregnant. My latest blood tests show that my TSH levels are very high which as understand of all is not good for the baby.
Is there any recommended/best private UK endocrinologist or clinic for this type of problems?
If someone knows a expert outside of UK is not a problem, I just want to know the best to me and my baby.
Thanks very much

If you fill in this online form someone can send you a list of good endos thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/About_... Or you could phone Thyroid UK on 01255 820407 between 10am and 2:30pm Monday to Friday if you are worried you won't get it soon enough.
Your own GP should treat you if your TSH is high. Your TSH needs to get below at least 2 and probably below 1. Please do see someone asap.
I hope you get it sorted out soon and congratulations
My obstetrician was very good at increasing when my T4 dropped during pregnancy, even though my TSH was still low. My GP hadn't wanted to increase my dose because I was pregnant. He said it was essential to increase it. He is NHS but if you are anywhere near Hertfordshire you may be able to get to see him through the book and choose system (or whatever it's called). If you are interested let me know and I'll message you his name and hospital.
