What kind of problems are you having? I would suppose you could especially if you aren't being treated optimally, which would leave you hypo again and being hypo does affect the eyes. A lot of people on here have better eyesight now that they are medicated. Wish I could be of more help. Do you have blood results that you could post on here for more comments.

Some years after I had RAI therapy I had to have an op on one of my eyes beca\use the muscles retracted down to thyroid disorder then they were fine for a lot more years but have been having problems again with them re focus etc for around 18 months niw. Hope you get your problem sorted.

Any problems that you may be having would be resolved by simply ringing the dept where you had the treatment done and asking them. They are the experts.

Was the RAI because of Graves' disease? It can happen after RAI if you have Graves' Or it could be a symptom of being hypo, because it takes a little time to get your post-treatment regime sorted. You don't say what kind of problems you are having. Do you have difficulty focusing, do your eyes feel gritty, do they look more prominent that usual? Please do come back and say what is the problem, it can give a clue as to the cause and help you to know what is best to do.

The important thing is to discuss it when you go for a checkup, or if you are really worried, and it can be very worrying when your eyes are affected, see if you can bring forward your appointment.

Look forward to hearing from you, enuj123.
