Have Coeliac abd diabetes...and still absolutely shattered all of the time.

Been to GP's this morning...for results of last blood tests..."all in normal range"

Vit D is 49...B12 is 327.

Told once again to lose weight...2 stone minimum....

Its apparent I am now on my own again...so I am open to ideas. .....

Many thanks in advance...

Have you had the active B12 test? Definitely worth considering with your B12 level:

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

I've put some B12 links in my post to someone else this morning, see this thread:

thyroiduk.healthunlocked.co...

Also, do you have results for ferritin/iron and folate? Do you have a thyroid condition as well? Adrenals checked?

Have had three of the 4 parathyroids taken out in December 2009.

Iron levels are "fine". Wasnt the active B!2..just the standard...

Just feel let down again...was half expecting a mention of Hashimotos...

Neck is visbly swollen...and tender on both sides of voice box. Do have nodules....but again..not worth doing anything about....

Hi Apricot,

I don't know anything about parathyroid's, I'm assuming you've seen this website?

parathyroid.com/

It talks about low vit D here:

parathyroid.com/low-vitamin...

Perhaps try and get copies of all you results (with ranges) and post them in a new question, explaining your history. Include: thyroid (TSH, free T4, free T3, antibodies), B12/folate, ferritin/iron, vit D, calcium, etc.

Still think the Active B12 test is worthwhile for you, just to rule it out one way or the other.

Your vit D is not normal at all!!! Mine is 47 and classed as extremely low and put on vitD supplements!!

Apparently low VitD has similar symptoms to hypothyroidism.
