Support groups

Hi all, does anyone know where I can find info on local support groups (if there is one near me that is!)? Or does anyone know if there is one in Hertfordshire? Thank you

If there isn't a suitable one, you could set one up!

I'd love to be involved with setting one up but I don't have enough thyroid knowledge or confidence to do it, I'm a newbie to this!

It was a bit tongue in cheek - but lack of knowledge of your own should not be a barrier. After all, it is supposed to be a group - so (hopefully) others with a bit more experience and knowledge would also be there?

Mind, it is the last thing on the planet that I would fancy doing.

Ha ha - yes maybe in time, at the moment with a full time job, 3 kids, an untidy husband and an underactive thyroid I think I'm punching too high taking on a project like that!

One day though - I really would love to help people going through this horrible condition know that they are not alone.
