My dose has recently gone up only 25mcg per WEEK. It's been two weeks now and I'm starting to feel extremely tired, lethargic and zombie like. It happens everytime I increase. Does anyone else experience this or know why? It doesn't make sense, you would think the increase you make you feel better! Thanks, Wired x

Why feel worse before better on Levothyroxine?
exactly! i'd like to know this too! lol and headaches.....a lot of people get headaches too when increaseing.....:0(
I've just had the same thing. Previously I increased my own Levo form 50mcg to 100mcg to see if it made any difference. After two weeks I felt awful, so stopped.
My endo has just increased my levo from 50mcg to 75mcg(along with my usual 20mcg of T3). Yet again, 2 weeks later and I started to feel worse than I have in ages - more fatigued aching, sore throat, really sore eyes, absolutely freezing. Realised yesterday that it must be the increase and have now gone back to 50mcg myself.
Supposed to be stopping all meds as of next week for 3/4 weeks in preparation for TRH test, so will be interesting to see how I feel. Last time just on Levo when I stopped felt better for a couple of weeks, then started to feel worse again!
Hi Denise. It's nice to know I'm not alone! It always happens to me when increasing, was just curious if anyone knew why?
Take care, Wired x
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I feel a bit brighter today, but never know till the morning comes what my day is going to be like.
I hope your day has been better also
