Has anyone had any experience of taking artichoke extract tablets to reduce bloating and ibs?

I'm afraid I have and they don't like me! I think this is because they are not FODMAPS friendly, and that is the diet I am finding really helps my IBS. The artichoke gives me terrible wind and pain. However, I have heard that it works for clearing out the bile, so may be good if you don't malabsorb it like me.

I am trying enteric coated mint capsules which you take before a meal. Early days yet, but have had reduced bloating, wind and urge to defecate.
