Duobluts medication for enlarged prostate

Hi, I have suffered from IBS-D symptoms for 35 years and have managed it reasonably well up until this year . I was diagnosed with BPH (enlarged prostate) and placed on Duobluts (same as Duodart) capsules which are taken daily. 9 days later, started having severe IBS symptoms and a few days later, a constant urge to visit the bathroom (Tenesmus ) which I have never experienced before. I stopped the meds and 5 weeks later, am slowly improving.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues?

No and it amazes me that drugs like this were ever approved some 24 or 15y ago. Stay away and consider yourself lucky that you're improving after withdrawal as many don't. Stay safe!
