Looking for posts or info on any devices that can detect Gluten in food when travelling . This has become quite unnerving as I have been caught a few times with a “ Guarantee gluten free and no cross contamination “ which obviuosly was not accurate.

Any suggestions appreciated

Hi Darcy, these things are used in the food industry to detect residues. They are expensive and used to confirm the efficacy of cleaning in factories. I see you are in Canada and I am sure there will be something available there too. Here is an example: kersia.uk/shop/test-kits-an...

I have an app it says GF scanner. You scan the bar code and it tlells you if the product is gluten free. OK if you are buying food but no help if you are eating out I'm afraid.
