sorry to hear that you have this

I have pain every time. The pain can last for a long time, too.

I thought it was just me with backache associated with IBS.

Isn't backache pancreas related? :S

Not heard that but backache is an IBS symptom apparently.

Yes. I often feel worse after a bowel movement. I can't go straight back to what I was doing. I need to lay down for 10/20 minutes. It is often a big effort, but even when easy I feel knocked out. I was told it could be the vegus nerve effected, but I k ow that's not much help. I also burn in that area probably cos of internal piles.

Yes I often feel washed out and fatigued after a bowel movement and I need to sit for a bit, I do think related to the vagus nerve

Yes I suffer with severe lower abdominal pain that bad a few times I have been doubled up on the bathroom floor, I get pain nearly every day from trapped wind, spoken with my GP who reiterates that I have no "red flag" symptoms no bleeding no weight loss and I've had all the tests so basically just get o with it, at times I feel like getting a sharp knife and cutting the pain out

No pain after a bm, but I nearly always feel really tired, a bit queasy and shaky for up to 2 hours afterwards, most days. Its as though all the toxins have been released into my body instead of being expelled. I don't understand why

I get that as well as cramps doctor suggested it's probably the vagus nerve being affected by the spasms
