Does anyone else suffer with gut issues after air travel? I can be in a good place ( gut wise) until I have been up in the air for a few hours, then the whole holiday is spoilt with pain , bloating, bowels just stopping for no reason after being regular for ages, etc etc
This problem happens every trip and has now put me off flying. I have read cabin pressure can affect bowels, but does anyone have any solutions?

That's very interesting.I hadn't made the connection but my gut started misbehaving after a lot of air travel. I thought it was stress-related (flying is traumatic even if you enjoy it - what an ordeal).
Be fascinating to hear other's experiences and thoughts too.
Hi. I had this after my last holiday. It was a nightmare & I didn’t return to normal for a good couple of weeks when I got home. I have read that taking a stool softener for a week before travel helps but haven’t tried it. I’m flying again soon so would be pleased for any advice from other forum members.
