painful farts

Today I have been having very fearful farts and had 2 go toilet almost every time just in case!!! pain in my left side under my rib followed with chills,shivers,poison & venom going right through my body and goosebumps also feeling like I am sat on rocks and anus pain and the feeling as if something is stuck up there growling sounds like a washing machine unable 2 sit comfy on my bum and today afraid of what is going to come out of me all the time if & when I do as I can be constipated one moment and like a light switch really watery stuff the next as I can have a fart with a follow through!!!! when I wipe myself with loo paper it's supposed 2 be soft but feel like a sharp knife HELP please as I am not getting any peace from it at all today

Sorry to hear you are suffering like that. Do you think you could be impacted with over flow diarrhoea as this can make you feel dreadful. The only motion that can get past the blockage is watery poo. I had this a couple of years ago after being in so much discomfort for ages. I was scanned & x-rayed at hospital & had to almost overdose on laxatives to sort me out. I really have to be careful I don’t let myself get to this state again. I had terrible painful wind also.

Sounds exactly like what i went through until the pain began to get lower and lower down my tummy. I was then diagnosed with Diverticulitis and soon after went through Stage 1, which was so bad i get really upset and cry' each time i think about it. Please write down your symptoms and note any changes and the dates. Ask to be referred to your local pain clinic as they know more than your gp and spot it immediately.
