Thank you everyone for your informative replies, I know it sounds silly but it's reassuring to know I'm not alone.I spoke to my doctor yesterday and I'm having some blood tests next week.

I'm gluten and lactose intolerant.

I take dicycloverine 20 mg and paracetamol for the gut cramps and pain I also drink mint tea which sometimes helps with the wind. Also lying down on my left side sometimes helps.

Ibs is hell as you all know it's finding different strategies to deal with it.

I wish you all the best and thank you for your help it is much appreciated.
