relentless muddy BMs

sorry not sure if my previous comment posted so if I am repeating I apologize.

I need help I’m struggling to cope and any advice will be helpful. I do have another CT scan for next week and I’m seeing digestive specialists but my condition has become close to unbearable and I am struggling to get through this. My bowels keep generating huge volumes of muddy, greasy stool. I am full of it and it won’t stop I have several significant movements in the morning and the rest of the day is spent pressing down below my navel to push out loose sticky stool. It won’t stop I can hardly breathe. I also eat very little because any food I eat does not provide any relief. What is happening it’s relentless. I’m on my own dealing with this so I’m reaching out to you all for some guidance or advice I don’t know what to do and how to get through the day. Any advice will be welcomed. Thank you

I hope the gastroenterologist you are seeing as well as the CAT scan will be helpful. To me these don't really sound like IBS symptoms, although, as I am not a doctor, It is hard to be sure. You might also ask the gastro about SIBO.

in the meantime I should try some Imodium to firm things up. I was told I could use these regularly if needed by my gastroenterologist.

my gastroenterology told me not to take Imodium it’s so confusing sometimes. I think it’s help me from losing any more weight

I would ask to be tested for Bile acid malfunction. Google it your symptoms sound like it could be that.

Greasy stools are usually a sign of malabsorption in the bowel and the scans should hopefully lead to a diagnosis.

I had that back in my 30s. I wonder now if it was SIBO back then. If you have cramping ask your doctor for librax. Now all I have is just stubborn IBS-C.
