Anyone got any ideas.Had loose toilet twice this morning. Then needed a bath afterwards
Feel itchy and sore. This occurs quite a lot. When I went to Doctors he just said no piles but you look extremely sore and itchy it’s just caused by your I.b.s.
He prescribed me Trimovate cream.I use it sparingly but I’m sure it’s not having much affect.
Sometimes I just use Sudocream or Vaseline.
Anyone got any tips.I really could do with some advice,

I keep a bottle of water by the toilet and douse my toilet paper before using, so I get pretty darn clean by the time I'm done. I like one-person public bathrooms where the sink is close by for this reason! IBS-D-ing seems to be really acidic, irritating, so I'd be raw if I didn't rinse so well. I don't use anything -- other than wet toilet paper applied gently if repeatedly.
Wet wipes! Use dry toilet paper as little as possible.
If you're in the UK there's a wonderful product called Wype which you can put onto dry toilet paper and it makes it into a wet wipe. This means you don't have any of the issues of disposal of non-flush wipes, and you're only carrying a small tube of Wype not the wet-wipes.
For totally different reasons we had a Japanese style bidet toilet fitted when we had out bathroom refitted. Expensive, but worth every penny on my bottom!
I’m so touched by people replying to me and offering good advice.Sometimes I feel like I’m weird and odd to be obsessed by the toilet rituals and how my bottom is feeling!
Also try swapping loo paper for cotton wool balls (just shower water instead when you can)
Also swap soap for Oilatum or similar to wash.
Vaseline good when you apply it, but then the dirt sticks so not so good.
P.S. "IBS" is a symptom polite (but poor) description not a diagnosis so your doctor needs to make a bit more effort? ( I make that comment on what I've been told by doctors, not a personal nal view)
I always use aqueous cream to wash that area and always, where possible, use the shower rather than a flannel. It seems to help but doesn't always prevent the problem completely. Also, try to avoid tight clothing and stick to cotton pants
I have a douche spray at home; as in some Asian countries. Wash, don't wipe. Also I found a product called 'rapid', that I got from Singapore is brilliant. Now only available in Australia if at all. Best alternative is a mixture of aloe vera and tea tree oil.
