rectogesic dizzy problem

I’ve resorted to using rectogesic only at bedtime because it makes me feel so weird. It doesn’t give me a headache but I feel dizzy and faint for a couple of hours after applying it. Anyone else had the same and found a way to cope with it? I need to persevere because I have two small tears which hurt! Not having a drink for 8 weeks is a challenge too 🤣

Rectosgesic gives me horrible headaches too , so my Doctor took me off of it, now on Scheriproct cream which doesn’t cause any headaches.

Does that help fissures? Or just piles?

Thank you

Rectogesic gave me severe migraines so I use diltiazem cream instead.

Hi Sandra. I want to use Diltiazem cream but the doctor told me that it is not found in England. Where did you get it from? Thanks!

How strange, I got it from my GP, I haven’t had it for a while though.

Hi Lallytubs

It’s an ointment used for fissures. I think it increases the blood flow to the area and relaxes the muscles so that the tear heals. It does work but it can give you headaches. For me the problem was the dizziness x
