seeking advice
I haven't previously looked at this website, but just taken a look for you. I tend to be cautious about anyone who commercialises their advice i.e., makes money from helping people, particularly those who are not medically trained. I have worked such people in the past and they made my condition worse. This is not to say that some of the advice may not be helpful. I've only done a cursory look over the site. It seems to concentrate on how emotions affect IBS. There is truth in this, but IBS goes much wider including being exposed to gut infections from food poisoning etc.
I only joined this website 3/5 months ago and the help and tips on here 90% of it is very helpful indeed as I was told after 1st colonoscopy early 2021 after 6/7 polyps removed that I had IBS/Diverticular Disease then 2 weeks later another colonoscopy and 3/4 more removed still got the same problem given FODMAP diet shoved out the GW Hospital still having problems most of last year and another colon scan this year + a scan that you have 4 when having a baby with less water to drink before ( I was having blood when wiping myself and my history of breast cancer ETC so had 2 be safe than Sorry ) well some how I got a message from a woman called Tina Wright claiming to be a therapist I nearly did give in but looked at the address online ( SORRY I can't recall it!!!) but I reported it on this website 3/4 weeks ago & so far so good no more has come of it as she wanted £47.00p 4 her So-called help and saw a lot on TV about scans prior 2 it as people like that can pray on people like us when we just want help and tips as once they have your Bank details they can easy rip you off !!! as they say buyer be ware so if you are tempted please be VERY careful OK Just take care x
