I was recommended to try Renew Inserts as a solution to my anal Leakage in another forum.
The company sent me a trial device to try, and it seems almost like a miracle cure!
These are very soft, small latex plugs that fit in the anus. Initially a little uncomfortable, but it soon became un-noticeable.
I've requested a prescription from my doctor for more as they are prescription only. But I'm concerned that my GP will be difficult (he refused my request for a referral to the continence service).
Has anyone else tried these?
And has anyone experience of getting them on an NHS prescription without going through a continence clinic?

Hi Hetchins1946, I have not heard of these before and I am on quite a few IBS forums. They sound interesting! Not sure that I would like to stick something up my bum but maybe it's not such a bad idea if it helps. I am certainly interested!
Let us know how you get on with your request to your GP and good luck.
Hi I got these on prescription a couple of years ago - I used to go jogging and experienced leakage (I no longer run) I think the company contacted the doctor. They worked. I no longer need them - good luck with your gp
