I don't take these but do combine bisacodyl and cascara because of motility issues. I start with 1 (5mg) bisacodyl in the morning but do cut the tablet in half. I found out that doing it this way it's less harsh for my intestines but still works good enough for me. Approx 5 hours later I take 2 capsules cascara, approx 5 hours later again 2 capsules cascara and before bedtime I take one bisacodyl (5mg,again cutting it in 2 halves) or cascara. Also almost don't take any insoluble fibres.

I don’t but there’s no reason you can’t take them together if you need to. Docusate is a stimulant and softener whereas Movicol is osmotic meaning it draws water into the bowel which in turn helps to soften.
