Senna

Hi

Just some advice please, I went to the doctors last Thursday and he put me on Senna he advised 2 tablets a day and if no better by this week to contact the surgery.

Things have improved slightly but am unsure if it’s safe to take senna daily? Does anyone have any advice please ?

If it's working for you use it -but make sure to ask about how long to keep using it. One thing in its favour -it's natural.

I was put on 2 Senna a day 25 years ago.. I now take 8 a day..! Of course my bowels are dependent on it but it works and the docs are happy.. lots of people take even more.Don’t worry!
