Out of control Attacks

I have had IBS since 1974 but mostly under control. During the last couple of years I’ve had regular episodes of the mixed type, but recent months having virtually all liquid explosive movements without any real warning signs and causing embarrassing incontinence! It’s just impossible to even get an e-consult at my surgery! Any advice appreciated Thanks

With holidays and booster rollout all but emergency stuff seems to have shutdown for 10 days. Maybe you tried all this: If possible get set up for e.g. patientaccess.com and book the nearest slot (even weeks away) and if you have that option bombard surgery first thing for a long phone queue for the ew on-the-day desperate e-consults. Or maybe try 111 online to see which answers will take you a talk with an actual doctor to get referred.

Searching for 'explosive' because that's how mine are, but with warning in the sense that it builds slowly and excruciatingly for hours and I can hardly think until I can finally go, and it's like firing several rounds of a gun. I've no idea where all the gas comes from (SIBO?) but it's insane and it has huge impact. If you found anything that mitigates it please let me know (trying deflatine, colpermin ....). I'm waiting .... and waiting .... for colonoscopy before consultant can go to next step and probably says 'nothing to see here'.
