Have you tried milk of magnesia or a magnesium citrate supplement?

Hi. I have the same and prolapse pelvic floor. Always feels like there is more to come out.I use osmotic laxatives, colosan, mag07 expensive of course. Safe and harmless not like medicines from doctors, not in their interest to cure anything. If you don't have strictures or blockages, psylium husks or powder taken helps to soften and make stool easier to pass. Hope that helps, sorry about spelling.

Hi..I also have pelvic floor disorder. So bad in fact that I am unable to have a movement without a stimulant laxative (Senna). Apple Juice or pear juice are mild laxative effects so that helps a bit too. I do try a stool softener (Colace) but it's not enough. Because of this I'm on a low fiber diet. Why "bulk" up my stools if I can't push it out? I'm looking into surgery. Have you tried a hospital that has a specialty for pelvic floor disorders?

I have the Director of Gynaecology as my consultant and am awaiting a second pelvic floor repair. Thanks for your interest.

Eat gluten-free , dairy free and sugar free. Take digestive enzymes and fibre.

Use squatty potty.

Splint if you have too.

And see a pelvic floor physiotherapist they will help you with reducing it at lease 1 grade level.
