Bouts of yellow diarrohea

Hi,

Can anyone tell me why I have started getting bouts of intense stomach upset, pain and cramping with yellow watery diarrohea. It lasts 2-3 days, settles down and then something randomly makes it happen again.

I have been having problems with acid reflux lately, extreme fatigue and generally feeling rubbish.

Any ideas please?

Yellow watery diarrhoea makes me think BAM (Bile Acid Malabsoption). See link below.

You do need to check this out with your gastroenterologist, especially since you have fatigue and are not feeling so well. Maureen may be right about BAM, but it can also be an odd virus, or something you are eating, or food poisoning, etc.,etc.

As others have suggested could be a number of things not nessesarily anything sinister. But you do need to get any new symptoms checked out.

So after some tests I have a hiatus hernia and lax stomach muscle to keep the acid down, also bloodtests showed i have high faecal haemaglobin and low RBC and low haematocrit levels. I must have internal bleeding somewhere in my gut but its not in my stomach. My GP said she will try me on bile binders, is there anything else i should be taking?

The same here. It has been going like this for 3 weeks now, having diarrhoea every weekend and sometimes in mid week too for a day, goes away then comes back the week after?!
