Yes years ago is that what your stool test showed? It's a horrible infection but luckily the treatment worked for me x

I have been struggling with it for years and have tried a lot, but the only thing I found helpful after a short relief with antibiotics was a 25% propolis tincture. I full empty capsules with it, 20-30 drops before a meal three times daily and feel so much better. I did this for a month every day and no I take 30 drops in the morning like 3 times per week or whenever I feel symptoms are flaring up during stressful times. All the best for you!!!

You also might want to start slowly with 20 drops in the morning and then gradually increase the dose.

Symptoms include Bloating, gas, wind, reflux, pockets of bubbles in the belly, brain fog, anxiety, odd stools ( loose and smelly) gripping feeling before and after going to the loo.

Yes I had it many years ago and it is a truly horrible infection. The triple treatment helped but I am afraid to say it took a long time to completely eliminate .I hope you are better soon and send you best wishes.

Hi. Do you mean it took more one treatment to eradicated it or just thr symptoms took a while to go. How long did it take for you to feel normal. Did you suffer from weight loss

My second treatment finished in January this year and whilst I have made progress since but recently have had acidity flare ups again. Hopefully it will subside. Its been 4 months since the antibiotics course ended. Had done a stool test in March which was negative

Yes all came back ok. My calprotectin levels was high but the second one was ok. Just waiting on results of a H pylori hopefully get results back next week

in reply to 3443Ness

Oh ok well the calprotectin probably settled. Probably had a bit of inflammation there on the first test. Might be worth asking for another test in a couple of weeks

H pylori is a bacterial infection in your stomach and lives in your digestive track. It eats your stomach lining which can cause sores, ulcers and can lead to cancer of the stomach if left untreated.Feacal calprotectin levels is a inflammatory bowel disease or IBD or functional bowel disease syndrome IBS. They also test for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Hope this gives u an understanding of what they r I am no expert and only just learning about these conditions
