IBS diarhhea recovery

Ibs diarhhea - whenever you eat, never stand up. After you eat, stay seated for about 30 minutes to an hour. This helps the weak muscle down there to retain the feces longer to prevent causing diarhhea. Retaining of the feces will allow also the other symptoms to ease away. Try it. If you cant find any problems, the ur problem is that the muscle somewhere in the buttocks or intestine has become weak for some reasons. Thats how i recovered from constant diarhhea, gases and bloating

Ceres77, these links may help you understand the brain-gut connection called the vagus nerve and how it's level of vitality may be involved in your symptoms. I encourage further research of these concepts bring to your attention and consultation with your health care professional for their recommendations.

Totally agree, but not knowing the whys and wherefores, I had always tried to not get up and move around once I've eaten. Tricky part is if you're staying at someone's place and you are supposed to get up and help with the dishes or you are in town and eat and then need to get back to the car or carry on shopping! I have found taking a flask and sitting in the car for lunch or eating after you have shopped really helps too.

So thats why make the most of it when you are at home, sometimes when im at home im randomly eating and sitting down longer just to get those muscle exercise and learn back how to hold stools longer. As im getting older, im realizing how different but very similar our body are. And how strange and mysterious it is. And it’s true, every part of the body has their own brain that you have to keep teaching when they forget how to function lol

Make sure to sit longer during your break time. When u eat, sit longer, make the most of your few minute break on sitting. At night at home, and in the morning, do that thing. Just seat down , if possible, put your feet up, like sitting on the floor, so that your body will be super curved, and eat like that. After u eat, stay seated for 30 mins to an hour. Keep your things close to u so u wont get bored sitting down. I did that for two weeks and im having good stool now. Actually in few days i can see improvement. Its about holding the stool longer so the muscle can recognize how to hold the feces longer and yes it will get back .

I find exercises that work the pelvic floor have helped me enormously.

Yes, it’s all about strenthening those areas down there. The muscles especially.
