What foods should we eat if we are suffering from Acid Reflux, IBS and Gastritis?
And what foods should be cut off?
I have heard that yoghurt is good for acid reflux but I had it a few days back and guess it's causing a negative effect on my body. I suffered from gas pain during the early morning the day after eating it.
Please help!

Hi! What will ne useful to do in the first instance is to keep a food diary and then you can see what foods make you feel unwell. Also probiotics is good for digestive issues
Hello,I seem to be having the same issues that you are suffering with.🙂 I suffer with gas pain mainly in the morning on the left side of my abdomen and lower to mid back pain mainly after eating aswell. I tried the apple cider vinegar which gave me gastritis. The pain I can handle, it's just the thoughts and anxiety that it causes wondering if it's something more serious than IBS. Have you had a diagnosis with tests?
My gastritis eventually settled down when the doctor prescribed Esomeprazole, which is a form of omeprazole and helps to reduce the acid levels in the stomach. I couldn't manage without it. Has your doc prescribed a similar med? These meds also help with acid reflux. I still have to be very careful though and limit the dairy and acidic foods, such as fruits and tomatoes. You can get omeprazole in pharmacies too although it's a low dose and rather expensive.
It's tricky when you have IBS as well because the diets recommended for gastritis are bad for the IBS. I saw a dietician and she couldn't really do much to help. It seems to be 'trial and error' with what food to eat. I take loperamide too as I have IBS-D.
I am just going through the same eating issues to try and resolve IBS symptoms with acid reflux. Omeprazole stops my acid but does not help with IBS, I was referred by my doctor to a health advisor who suggested the FODMAP diet. It is early days yet but I have less bloating and pain from gas. To see any real results I will have to try it for 4 to 6 weeks. I have also developed fat in my liver which is another complication with digestive issues. But I was informed that FODMAP eating could help with this to. But everyone's body makeup us different so what works for for the me may not work for you.
