Any one getting relief from gastritis ? On ppi meds ?

Had gastritis years ago ranitidine worked for me I found omeprazole made it worse x

I’m only on a small dose 10 mg Not worse not better

What caused yr gastritis ?

They never tested me for that !! Had endoscope have had bouts of it on and off for years I just take ranitidine x

Yes I am you could try any pharmacy like Superdrug or pharmacy’s in supermarkets x

I was on prescribed ranitidine but the hospital pharmacist informed me that it’s been taken off the market completely due to possible carcinogenic ingredients! Great! 🤦🏻‍♀️( I’ve been on it for about 10 years after omeprazole caused kidney problems) he wrote to my gp suggesting famotidine and it seems to be okay so far 🤞🏻

Omg really glad I didn’t take it for years , never got on with omeprazole made things worse but glad to know you’ve found something that works !! X
