Parasite Infection

I did the Para-Wellness stool test and it came back that I had Blastocystis hominis (protozoa). It listed that I had in the range of few to moderate amount. How serious is this and is it something I should address with a parasite cleanse? Thank you.

Hi. Did you buy this testing kit on line? If so before buying any cleansing kit have a word with your GP and show them the results. It could be just a way of you buying something you dont need.

Yes I bought is online. Wasn't sure if it was something I needed to address.

I suggest discussing with your GP. Maybe do a little research on line beforehand (keeping in mind that there is a lot of mis information out there).

Please take the report to the GP and ignore the advice of any practitioners who might have got the test for you. They are not doctors and you could end up treating something unnecessarily.

Thanks. I don't have diarrhea. Never have had it. I do have severe constipation which is probably related to the SIBO I have.
