I am on tablets for ibs I have to eat every time with them but I'm feeling bloated and sick wat is it

What elimination tests did your GP give you to diagnose IBS?

I was in hospital with bad pains in my side I had blood tests and scans done my tablets are mebeverine 135 mg

OK, so there are usually more elimination tests to have before you end up with a IBS diagnosis. But as you say it's all new to you and you have to get your head round it suggest you view the IBS network they have a helpline, advice on diet and pain control. Good luck🍀

That is usually how I feel when I eat foods which trigger my IBS. Have you done food a food diary to find what your triggers are? That was one of the first things my doctor asked me to do as part of my diagnosis.

No I didn't get told that to b fair I'm still figuring out stuff about it

I have ibs but I know what my trigger food is, fizzy drinks which I dont have anymore and too much milk or yogurt sets my ibs off. I agree a food diary will be good.
