Hello, yes I am but can eat chedder as its naturally low in lactose. But cannot drink milk in any way shape or form.

Symptoms, bad cramps, lots of gas, pain and sometimes diarrhoea.

Taking it out worked amazingly.

Hope this helps x

Thanks for that mine is horrendous gas which is smelly, pain, more on constipation side but the growling, rumbling all the time in the tummy which does seem to get worse as the day goes on probably as having more lactose - don't have a lot of milk and always had dairy free spread Pure/Flora (do these have lactose in?) so thinking it is milk and if I have used another non dairy free spread

Milk is the highest thing with lactose, even 2 tablespoons of it can give symptoms, aswell as cream, soft cheese etc. I would switch the milk to almond milk, get lactose free everything else :) could be worth a week to test it? :)

I am off to supermarket today to get lactose free milk and spread - does even a small amount of milk effect you. I do not have a lot of dairy - two coffees per day with milk in but I did notice few weeks ago a little bit of cheese seemed to kick off my tummy. Alternative milks - like oat/almond which is good one as they do seem high in sugar - trying to eliminate that at the moment

Unsweetened almond milk is best. If you're in the UK - cathedral city have lactose free cheese, just a sip of milk sets me off bad but cheese not so much

Hello,

I have a quick question. I have experienced pretty severe bloating that last about 1 ot 2 weeks at a time since last year. I did a colonoscopy December 2019 : all clear.

Tried foodmap diet. Bloating was still off and on.

I am pretty sure I am lactose intolerant as I get bloated every time I eat dairy. The bloating last for days every time.

End of june , my stomach was litteraly flat for 2 weeks. No more bloating! Was so happy. I accidentally ate goat cheese ( a few bites) at a restaurant last week. The bloating was almost immédiate!

Bloating came back with a vengeance and won’t go away which worries me. I am now bloated all day non stop . I look 4 months pregnant. Can bloating last for over 1 week as a reaction to lactose or could it be something else.? I read bloating usually last 48 hours with lactose intolerance symptoms?

Thank you so much for reading and answering.
