I often experience a few urgent bouts of diarrhea until mid or late morning which makes organising life difficult. It's the same whatever time I get up. Wondering whether anyone else experiences this and how you deal with it. I've reached the point of avoiding any plans before about 11am, but have found people don't seem to understand when I say I can't manage a particular activity which begins earlier.
Many things seem to begin at nine or ten am. It's not like I can just nip into the loo for five minutes if I'm out somewhere as I'm in there ages and in and out again as soon as I think I've finished. Fortunately my partner is very understanding.

I had the same thing - not a comfortable situation. I would avoid jobs that would have lots of long meetings 8am to 10am as that was a time when my system would be trying to settle - and a number of toilet trips were often required.
If your GPS has diagnosed IBS he should have mentioned the fodmap diet. This is ideally dietian lead. I have done that 18 months ago and as long as I am quite strict with the fodmap I do (which is personalised as I can tollerate diary and the high fructose fruits) I no longer have this issue.
I hope you find a health way to live an unrestricted life. Good luck !
I have the same exact problem. Before even eating I can go 5-8 times from early morn to mid morn. I can take viberzi which will shut things down but it still sucks waking up early and not being able to sleep in even weekends.
I do sympathise, I experience exactly the same scenario! I rarely get out before 12. I make all my appointments for the afternoons and sometimes just don’t go out at
