hi,

yes that was the start of my ibs symtoms,it was about 5 years ago and i was given the triple treatment of 2 antiboitics and 1 tablet to help line the stomach( sorry cant remember which ones) the first doctor gave me a weeks worth even though you are supposed to have 2 weeks of treatment so i ended up having to take another course although i felt sick during the treatment it did improve by the time i had completed the course.I would advise to stick to a fairly easy diet during the treatment and a good probiotic after to help your stomach bacteria after the antibiotics kill all bacteria (both good and bad)if you like fermented foods they really help too.

Also i wish i had known about a prepayment plan for presciptions at the time as i pay for mine and it cost me about £50 back then.

I hope this helps it is really common and although i still have ibs the h pylori has gone
