Getting up in the morning (regardless of what time) is always a constant major struggle for me. The pain hits my like a ton of bricks and so honestly feel like a zombie- I lack concentration and feel generally unable to cope with the thought of leaving the house.

Any in else feel like this and have any suggestion?

I agree - I go on Thursday for tests of fitting a STOMA. The end of the road or a new beginning?

It's good to know I'm not the only one, in 3 weeks I'm meeting with my surgeon to discuss changing my existing stoma to an ileostomy. I'm really not looking forward to it because I don't know if I'll be able to cope with it, it was hard enough last time.

Really your gonna blame constipation on being tired in the morning? I've been dealing with constipation for about 3 years and would not say that it makes me tired. What's your diet like? any caffeine?

Yes I’m going to blame a chronic condition That I’ve had for 13 years.

If your are just dealing with constipation then Lucky you because I am dealing daily with far more

Ignore tennisbgc, I know the feeling you get but don't have any suggestions I'm afraid. I find I'm unable to concentrate when the pain gets beyond a certain level.

Thank you. Even just the thought of not going through it alone is comforting x
