*Photo Warning* Stool has been this way for months

Hi all,

I’m a 20 year old college student. My stool has looked this way and has had this consistency for a while. I thought the red spot in the photo of my stool was blood; got it checked by my physician and it was just undigested food (phew). My concern lies in the fact that, while my stool is formed, it isn’t really “solid” at all. When I pass, I often have to wipe A LOT to fully clean the area. When I flush the stool, some of it sort of breaks up in the process. I never experience any abdominal pain or discomfort after eating, and I never struggle to pass my stool. I also have not experienced any constipation at all. I pass my bowels 2-3 times daily, and it is typically in the morning and early afternoon. My diet is admittedly not the best and I do have a coffee every morning. I also smoke nicotine through an e-cigarette but I plan on quitting nicotine after this semester ends. I am seeing a GI doctor at the end of the month but I was just wondering if anybody had any idea why my stool would be like this? Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!

Not sure about your health but when my stools come out like that, I'm happy! it's formed

That looks like a very normal stool to me! Have you checked it out against the Bristol Stool Scale (Google it)? Otherwise what are the symptoms that you are going to see a GI doctor for? Good luck........
