Is this Ibs or worse

For the last year I gave had regular bouts of abdo pain, bloating etc. 3 weeks ago I had some abdo pain. Bloating wind. Bit of nausea. Slight loss of appetite which is very unlike me. For the last 4 days I’ve had a pain on my right side groin pelvic area. Better when I stand up. When I sit or lie it niggles. Continuously. Dull period like ache. Not debilitating but constant. I wake up with it. But I can sleep no problem is this Ibs? I’m away for 2 more weeks so don’t want to visit a doctor abroad. I’m a bit frightened. In the last year or so I’ve had bouts but not this pain. I’m 46 female. Anyone else have similar and been diagnosed with Ibs or worse?

There are a number of causes that could give the sort of symptoms you describe. Really think you should see your GP asap. Don’t think it is wise to try and guess. Can you not get an urgent appointment before you go away?

right hand side pain could be appendicitis I had it 14 years ago the dtrs thought it was a flare of my colitis so I had a bowel resection and while I was in hospital my appendix burst, I know you must have worked hard for. Your holiday but I suggest come back home early, surely your health comes first, and you really don't want to get poorly while your away from home. I wish you all the best Jo.
