I got my free sample of the above recently and summoned up the courage to give them a try on Friday with my evening meal. I was expecting to spend most of Saturday in the toilet. When I went the first time, I wondered if I could leave it at that, but decided that as it was a "laxative", I would do what I would normally do and go two more times in quite quick succession. I think that was probably a mistake with hindsight, but felt pretty normal for me by the evening. Today, therefore, I thought I would give it another go but not go back to the toilet after the first trip to the loo! It's now 11.00 am and still not been back to the loo.
Any thoughts anyone?

I am thinking and going "back and forth" about whether to purchase it or not. The "sample bottle" with only 10 capsules..(I think on their website) to take two capsules in evening, costs more to ship it to States than the 10 tablets which you can only take for five days (2 capsules daily). How many are you taking? There were testimonials on the 21st herbs website that the employees there take it for constipation, and they have no problem with it, are able to work..and have one bowel movement a day now. I think it say's it helps with IBS-D..But unclear if it is constipating for people with IBS-D? A little unsure. I hope others chime in..because I'm so tired of wasting money on herbs, probiotics, that don't work. It would help to know if they have helped others. I guess you have to take them every day. I saw a phone number on the website for them and a "contact us" button. I may call or write them.
Hi Eliana, I just took one. Was a bit scared yesterday about what might happen. I expected it to just keep coming all day but actually felt it made me a bit the other way. So today I thought I would just try and go once and not go back if possible and so far so good. It's now 3pm and feel almost normal at the moment.
This is great news. We suffer from opposite ends..IBS-C and IBS-D. I have the crummy C. I will buy it and pray..your post made me feel better about it..
Well..I'm bummed..went on webmd..said "reports of kidney and liver failure on this" "very unsafe if taken longer than three months" "do not take if you have IBS"..so back to square one..and on it goes..
I was having trouble with acid reflux as well as some IBS. I tried it for 4 days only. My bowel movements were regular for those days but I was getting so much reflux and heartburn I decided not to continue.
Hi Sue, I am thinking from what you just said about reflux that it might have made your tummy less runny, hence not going to the toilet as much and hence it backs up into your body giving you more symptoms up the top. Would you say that was an accurate description in your opinion?
