Hi yes it can do. I had gallbladder out. Caused chronic diarrhoea. Stabilized now. Treatment is colestyramine prescribed by gastro docter. My dad had gallbladder out aswell and he suffers diarrhoea. Not as bad as me. He uses Imodium.

Yes...I had my gallbladder out and had chronic diarrhea afterwards and for YEARS! Finally found drugs: Welchol and Colestipol to stop it in it's tracks. Colestyramine is cheaper, but it's a powder and I cannot deal with that each day!

I had my gallbladder removed over 30 years ago and i have never been able to eat fatty food since I once asked a doctor what happens to the fat when you have no gallbladder She told me it dumps in your stomach so I've always thought it's bound to affect my ibs I am very careful what I eat which can be hard

I can’t seem to eat meet now cos no soon as I eat it it’s goin thro me an get really bad belly pains an sounds like it’s gurgling all time 😞
