Since joining this site I am overwhelmed to hear how many of you unfortunately have similar symptoms or suffer from the same condition.
I have searched to see if I can find a support group where it would be nice to meet people in a similar situation or share the same experiences and haven’t had much luck.
I am based in Surrey just outside London, if anyone knows of any please let me know.
Thank you,
Dani

Hi, yes I think there must be thousands of us suffering these symptoms & no one seems to know what to do about it & that includes the medical profession, had these symptoms for 7 years now & having spent a fortune on various stuff, had all the usual tests etc., thought might help, am no further forward & getting worse. I feel I am a disabled person with an invisible disability but cannot talk about it. Good luck everyone.
Yes I went to the London session, unfortunately I didn’t get out of it what I was looking but I’m on the right track and have an operation coming up so there is light at the end of the tunnel hope all is well with you?
Hi there, where is the London one? I’m based in West London. Have been struggling with this for 15 years. Doctors don’t really seem to see it as an issue, just an inconvenience but for example, I’m in bed for the day after a bad attack yesterday. I feel wiped out and tearful that this is my life.
Hi, just noticed your query about the London IBS Support Group, it is in Kingston upon Thames. If you go to the IBS Network Website they have a section on their support groups. I happen to know they have a facebook page as I was making enquiries about it myself. I got the impression that not a lot a people were attending.
