I’ve been constipated all my life so I was able to consult my medical practitioners before I conceived to check what would be safe for my baby and they gave me Manevac which worked fine through two pregnancies and breastfeeding both babies without effecting them at all so you could ask your GP for it or I believe you can buy it now too. Good luck.
I ate a lot of dried fruit like prunes, figs, raisins etc during pregnancy as I didn't want to take anything potentially harmful. These seemed to work OK.
